Beauty For Life
Our 10th Annual Beauty for Life event was held on March 7, 2010 at Chez Nicole Salon. BBHI dedicated this year’s event to honor Cynthia Herrick who passed away from brain cancer last November.
Beauty for Life was a resounding success this year! The 250 people who attended enjoyed fabulous food, sipped on wine and champagne and looked at the ninety raffle items and packages that were on display. The raffles included a golf outing package, a week stay at Sea Colony, a restaurant package filled with gift certificates to fifteen local restaurants and several beautiful pieces of jewelry.
Chez Nicole has always been a huge part of our fundraising efforts by donating their salon services for the day. They were completely booked from 9 am to 3 pm. New this year were two one-hour make up seminars, “Master Class on the Basics of Makeup” given by Tia Hebron, one of Bobbi Brown’s premier makeup artists. All profits from the event are donated to support BBHI programs.

Our beloved friend and supporter, Nicole Cannatelli Testa, of Chez Nicole Salon, passed away on April 4, 2010, less than one month after BBHI’s Beauty for Life event. Nicole fought a courageous battle with brain cancer. Although she was ill, Nicole insisted that BBHI hold our Beauty for Life event at Chez Nicole again this year. We were all thrilled that Nicole spent the entire day with us on March 7th.
All of us at BBHI will miss Nicole greatly.
